U.S Army Stop Watch

- Personal Opinion
US History! A fantastic example of a 1940’s vintage military stopwatch by Elgin. Named the Timer because that’s exactly what it is. Some light scratches on the dial as you would expect from a watch of this age, but otherwise in great condition (check pictures). What makes this a bit rarer than most is this version has the issued broad arrow stamped on the back and also on the silk slip case it comes in. The outer box also gives full details of the era including Federal Spec / Type B / Contract Numbers. And Elgin. Illinois. U.S.A. This has all the provenance you need from such a historic piece.
