Lip Tastic! A Vintage French Chronograph from the iconic Lip brand. 

Founded in 1867 by Emmanuel Lipmaan in Besaçon, France. Lip has had a huge influence in the watch landscape but especially in France. Where there designs were always innovative but of the highest quality and using the best craftsmen.

This gorgeous 1960’s glossy black dial Lip Chronograph is a classic. 38mm, Valjoux 7730 movement, plexiglass and arrow hands. It hits all the correct vintage notes, plus it has perfect proportions and wears fantastically well. The red, white and blue outer track writing contrasts the gilt indices and the patina is fantastic on this!

I’m not sure these vintage chronographs get the love they deserve, it’s a huge amount of watch for the money.
