Mil Spec or not to Mil Spec!?
Very occasionally Military watches remain civilian only, and this is one such case. Sinn with its iconic military history launched this reference 815 in the late 80’s and early 90’s, the exact same case as the Precista, Tutima and even the Gallet LMC version’s.
Both the Sinn and Tutima were sold as mainstream divers watches, with only the Precista version being issued to the Royal Navy in both 1988 and 1989.
This has made this watch something of an anomaly, a civilian watch that is equally as rare as it’s issued counterpart. Add in the fact the condition of this watch is amazing and it has just had a full service and you have an absolute winner. Comes on a vintage tropic strap.
