Something a bit different! Lemania Nero Stopwatches are great things in general but this one is a bit more special and rare. Lemania were one of the leading Stopwatch makers. These Nero models were made for the military, and also for the BBC, the Post Office and other large organisations especially media what with them being critical for so many work functions. A lot of the early versions were co signed on the dial. And here we have a version made for the ITV channel. ITV is an independent news channel that is still going strong to this day in the UK. This stopwatch is dating back to the late 70s / early 80s and would have been used to time segments in the studio or the adverts. A real piece of TV history. Also worth noting that it was a Nero Lemania Stopwatch that timed the first ever 4 minute mile by Roger Bannister. This stopwatch houses the Lemania 8000 7 jewel movement. In good used condition, the rubber shroud has a few cracks in it but this is a fantastic stopwatch will great history. A classic!
