Who doesn’t love a French Beauty!?

This vintage Maty Monnin cased diver is exactly that. Something about these vintage French Divers that just hit the spot.

This 1980’s Maty is one of the very earliest versions and made in France. It’s slightly slimmer in the case thickness due to the Quartz movement, and for the eagle eyed among you will know it’s the exact same case as the vintage Jaqcques Bianchi JB200’s. This is the 200m rather than the later versions at 300m. These stainless steel Monnin cases are iconic and so many great brands have used them.

Add in the peppermint patina lume plots which were very common in French Dive watches in the 70’s and 80’s and the small red 24 – Hour markings that are identical to other Monnin case brands like Heuer and Chronosport and you have a fantastic watch.

Another example that there are very cool vintage dive watches out there at very affordable prices.
