Dive in! Take the plunge! All those cliches. This one’s a looker!
One of my favourite watches that we currently have for sale.
The Rotary Aquaplunge Chronograph from the 1960’s is a beauty. Fitted with a 37mm case and matte black “ reverse panda dial “ Twin sub dials in white.
These 1960’s golden era divers are becoming very collectible and sought after, some of Rotary’s earlier dive watches were made to a very high standard. Made for professional divers and the like. Solid stainless steel cases and the looks to match. Housed inside is the manual wind Landeron 149 movement.
Look a little closer and you will also see some great vintage details, diamond shaped lume on the seconds hand and broad arrow – shaped luminous hand for its 45 minute register.
For a brand that became the official supplier to the British Army in 1940, these vintage Rotary divers are special and don’t get the love they deserve.
