Diver Royalty!

I have a soft spot for for ZRC ( Zuccolo Rochet & Cie.)

Whilst my preference will always be vintage, occasionally something pops up that’s too good to miss.

This virtually NOS (New Old Stock) 2022 ZRC Grand Fonds 300 1964 Spirit full set with Alligator strap is a case in point.

The ZRC brand is instantly recognisable with its monobloc case and screw down crown at 6. The Grand Fonds 300m is legendary in Dive watch circles, and a firm favourite with collectors. This reference launched in 1960, and was quickly selected by the French Navy in 1964 – 1982. Several forces in fact within the French Navy including Diving School, Clearance Divers and the legendary Commando Hubert make this a Mil Spec icon!

This reissue from 2022 replicates some of the original features with 40.5mm case and crown, Tropicalised dial, large beige Magnum style radium coated hands, 300m water resistance and a stunning OEM bespoke Alligator deployment strap. This also comes with the original strap, some leather ZRC goods and ZRC watch tools.

This is a supercool French diver with a fantastic history. Don’t miss this one.
