The Royal Navy Diver icon!
Firstly an admission, anyone that knows me or anything about Patina Nationale knows that I love CWC, they are without doubt one of my favourite brands. Hence I am also a collector of their amazing watches, whether that be vintage or new. If you get a chance check out their website cwcwatch.com
Add in their fantastic history and heritage and you will quickly understand why.
Whilst we tend to sell mostly vintage and issued pieces, sometimes a newer piece or two comes in that is just too good to miss. As is the case with this beauty.
The CWC Royal Navy Diver 1983 reissue is a handsome watch, stainless steel case, fixed spring bars, sword hands and 300 metres water resistant, it’s an instant classic and hits all the right marks.
The concern from any collector is that the “ reissue “ doesn’t do the original any favours as it doesn’t look or feel the same, that is not the case here. This is a seriously good watch and looks and feels that way too. This version comes as watch only and is from 2021, and has never been worn.
If it’s good enough for the Royal Navy it’s good enough for me and you.
