Firstly an admission, anyone that knows me or anything about Patina Nationale knows that I love CWC, they are without doubt one of my favourite brands. Hence I am also a collector of their amazing watches, whether that be vintage or new. If you get a chance check out their website cwcwatch.com

Add in their fantastic history and heritage and you will quickly understand why.

Whilst we tend to sell mostly vintage and issued pieces, sometimes a newer piece or two comes in that is just too good to miss. As is the case with this beauty.

The CWC SBS 1987 reissue is a handsome watch, stealthy PVD black case, fixed spring bars, sword hands and 300 metres water resistant, it’s an instant classic and hits all the right marks. Add in the fact that the original version from 1987 is without doubt one of the rarest military and most sought after special forces dive watches out there and you realise what a special lineage this watch represents.

The concern from any collector is that the “ reissue “ doesn’t do the original any favours as it doesn’t look or feel the same, that is not the case here. This is a seriously good watch and looks and feels that way too. This version comes as watch only and is from 2023, has never been worn and still has stickers on the back. Truly one of my all time favourites and to this day still being used by the Special forces.
