A personal favourite!

I am very pleased to offer an original Hamilton Military GS (General Service) from the 1960’s. Ref 75003-3 Tropicalised. It’s very rare you find them in this condition.

In the mid 1960’s Hamilton began to supply the British Military with watches including the Hamilton 6B for RAF Aircrew. Along with the G.S.

This Hamilton is printed with the “ G.S “ at 6’ o clock on the beautiful patina’d dial denoting that the watch was made for the British Military “ General Service “ division and would have been issued to non – military members of the British Armed Forces.

The case back has all the correct markings with the Hamilton “ H “ with tropicalised meaning the watch is temperature compensated and adept for hot, humid conditions and environments of Britain’s Commonwealth.

This is truly a fantastic all original example of a much loved mil spec icon, of which there are very few available. Everything is correct here especially the seconds hand and the case back which notoriously is not always the case.

It comes with 2 period correct straps from the brilliant George Holbrook and A.F0210.

Whoever buys this will not be disappointed. It’s immaculate.
