Personal Opinion

A rare bird!
These watches were the standard issue to Green Berets, Navy SEALS, Army Rangers and the EOD (Explosives Ordnance Demolition) Teams. There were 3 main batches issued to military in 1995, 1999 and 2000. These were also the first military timepieces ever to use the H3 permanent light tech which is still used in self luminous watches today. Stocker and Yale were not actually watchmakers originally, but they won the government contract to supply the military due to being one of very few companies with a licence to handle tritium, the radioactive material plus they supplied the amazing self luminating compasses to the US Military. Stocker and Yale are no longer around (sadly) they left the watch business in the early 2000’s, so you can’t buy these anymore. Finding good original versions is becoming very difficult. Especially like this one from 2000 that has its original box and papers. It’s in good used condition and so is the strap but I wanted to keep it on to remain original ( I’d change it to a new black nato) It’s also recently been checked over and a new battery fitted. In perfect working order.
A favourite watch of the US Armed Special Forces, and a piece of American Mil Spec issued history. Choose your weapon.
