Sometimes a watch is released that gets collectors talking and the Synchron Military is that watch. We here at PN try not to get into the politics with brands and watches and remain unbiased on the topic. All we will say is it’s a great looking watch. Some call this a Homage to the iconic Doxa Army. The strap line from Synchron was “ A Tribute to an Ultra Rare 1970’s Diver “

What made this slightly controversial is that Synchron once owned Doxa, and the Doxa Army watch is the stuff of legend. The original army was made doing the Synchron era. The owner of Synchron now is the legend that is Mr Rick Marai (who no longer is associated with Doxa) but helped design the original Doxa Army! Confused!? Dont be, we love both brands and their watches.

The more important thing is the watch itself, which is awesome. The case design is almost identical to the SUB300T, 42mm case size and 14mm thickness.

It has a lovely aged Superluminova on the bezel, dial and hands and definitely has that vintage feel. This comes on a Tropic strap but also has 2 other nato options inside the supercool Synchron Military tube. This came as a limited edition of 500 and quickly sold out as you would expect with such a great watch.

Not many of these available in this NOS condition, so grab what is certain to be a dive watch classic.
