Personal Opinion
Vintage Chronograph time!
This lovely vintage Le Jour from the 1960’s is a beauty.
Glossy black dial, reverse panda, twin registers and 36mm puts this right in the sweet spot of vintage chronographs.
The brand Le Jour was a well known French Distributor in Europe as a retailer of Chronographs manufactured by Heuer. Le Jour was also the name that Yema supposedly used to bring watches into the United States Market.
Other noticeable features that may be missed include the outer tachymeter scale, domed acrylic crystal and Art Deco numerals and markers. Housed inside the chunky case is a manual wind Landeron movement.
Don’t be put off by a name that you may or may not have heard too much of, this is a fantastic vintage chronograph at an excellent price, plus at the perfect size! With an incredible history!
