Here we have a fantastic and rare Universal Geneve Compax Chronograph.

Ref 384.445. Silver dial with black subdials and tachymeter bezel. Made in the 1990s, this 37mm icon is consistently compared with a vintage Daytona. Mainly due to the fantastic size and balance of the dial and sub dials.

Universal Geneve has a huge following in the collecting market as it still provides a fantastic value proposition considering how similar it compares in looks and quality to so many higher value sports chronographs. Iconic Universal Geneve owners include Eric Clapton and Nina Rindt. The Nina Rindt version commanding huge numbers in recent auctions. This is such a handsome watch and looks even better in the flesh. In very good used condition and running well. I have left the case unpolished as it’s a personal decision but I think a slight polish on the bezel would make this virtually perfect. One of the best looking watches we sell.
